Upon expiration of employment, some functions of the employee chip card are automatically deactivated.
It is not necessary to return it.
It can still be used as a guest card afterwards, e.g. in the cafeteria. However, the discount for employees will no longer apply.
If the chip card is not needed or has been handed in, it can be destroyed by the respective person.
