New RPTU account names will be generated automatically upon account creation. A newly created account name consists of three blocks, as follows:
- 3 letters, two-digit number, 3 letters.

bac42def
All RPTU personal accounts will have an associated e-mail address.
e.g.
bac42def@rptu.de
Subdomains may be added if the account belongs either to a student or any of the organisational units listed here: https://hotline.rhrk.uni-kl.de/help/en-us/5/509
To ensure that employees are recognizable by name in internal and external communications, they can assign themselves an email alias via https://accounts.rptu.de. There are several options to choose from based on the first and last name.
